Medicinal Plants of Korea
by Prof. Dug Kyun Ahn and Du Sik Ro

This book was published in April, 1980 by Dug Kyun Ahn and Du Sik Ro, at that time Professors of the College of Oriental Medicine of the Kyung Hee University, Seoul, Korea.

Prof. Ahn was one of the most renowed experts in Korean Traditional Medicine and, in particular, Korean Medicinal Herbs. I studied with him at Kyung Hee University in the early 80's.

The book is out of print since long ago and, as we consider it a must for those willing to go deeper into Hanbang, we are offering it online, as a bibliographical support.

The book was a gift from Prof. Ahn, hwo autographed it to me in September, 1980.

In its 82 pages, the book lists the 964 species of plants of medicinal use today, among which are those used in our Cheosusul preparations. Some naming may differ from Prof. Ahn book and our listing, due to market availability of those plants in the West. We list those usally available in Oriental pharmacies in Western Countries.
